About the Ecstatic Dance:
Our PLAY-list is designed by Natalie Lain who regularly DJ’s ecstatic dance experiences. The music is intended to guide you on a sweet and powerful inner & collective journey. It incorporates a variety of music styles to help you explore moving your body in new and refreshing ways. (Some genres include organic-electronic, EDM, reggae, folk, and percussive tribal beats.) The dance is a unique and personal experience for all who attend. You are truly dancing as an act of love for yourself, with an intention to move in ways that feel good and release any concerns for how you appear externally. In this safe space, we hope that you may find yourself shedding layers of tension, of criticism, or of any other unnecessary energies. We encourage you to be gentle with yourself throughout the process, exploring your edges and nourishing your body, mind, spirit, and heart. For some it can be a fun, lighthearted celebration, for others a full-on workout or emotion release; it depends on what you want to get out of it! This is a safe space with loving individuals where you can feel free to receive and express with compassion and without judgment. You are welcome completely - come as you are. <3
