2025 Match Madness is here!

We are honored to be a part of this fundraising campaign offered by Partnership for Better Health!

From March 1-31, 2025, all contributions to Amethyst Retreat Center made using this link will be matched. This means 100% of your contribution goes directly to Amethyst as well as additional matching funds.

This has been the largest source of our donations in past years, and as a 501 C (3) nonprofit, we rely on your generosity and kindness to help us continue fulfilling our mission.

How to Give

To give your financial contribution you can visit this link here > Click Here and select “Amethyst Foundation” from the provided drop-down menu.

You may also write a check made payable to Partnership for Better Health, noting “Amethyst Foundation” in the memo line of the check. Checks should be mailed to: Partnership for Better Health, 274 Wilson Street, Carlisle, PA 17013. Checks made payable to Amethyst Foundation directly will not be accepted by Partnership for Better Health. Amethyst will receive the full amount of your donation plus matching funds.

Each contribution will help Amethyst as we care for and maintain our 144 acres of land and work on important maintenance of our facilities.

Partnership for Better Health, WellSpan Health, and M&T Charitable Foundation have a matching gift incentive of $150,000. Amethyst will receive a portion of that sum based on what we raise.

Our Mission

Amethyst has been serving the public for over 30 years. We are dedicated to offering the public information, experiences, and programs that inspire innovative approaches to wellness.

Amethyst is a peaceful space where people can deepen their connections with nature, tune into their inner wisdom, and connect with others in diverse community.

We share a culture of respect and inclusiveness for all love-based religions, traditions, and ways of being. We bring our mission to life by offering retreats, workshops, and many other uplifting experiences.

Reasons to Give

Your gift of any amount helps us to continue sharing enriching and uplifting events with the public. This includes mindfulness retreats, wellness workshops, community events, kids programs, and more.

Contributing to Match Madness will also support us as we care for our 144 acres of land and work on very important maintenance to our facilities.

The main retreat house at Amethyst was built in approximately 1890 (it’s about 135 years old!). Of course, it has undergone many renovations and modernizations over the years, but with such an old house comes the need for consistent maintenance and care.

We love this house and all the beautiful moments that have been shared within these walls!

Your contribution will fund urgent infrastructure needs:

  • Chimney Repairs – $20,000

  • Roof Repairs – $2,500

  • Oil Tank Replacement – $3,540

  • Hot Water Heater System Upgrade – $2,000
