Schedule:

9-9:30am Introduction

9:30-10:30am Silence begins, Talk on Intention, Silent Meditation

10:30-12:30pm Optional On Your Own or Group Silent Meditation 

12:30-1:30pm Lunch

1:30-2:30pm Optional On Your Own or Group Silent Meditation

2:30 -3:30pm Guided meditation and sound bath

3:40-4:50pm Silent Meditation 

5pm Talk and Group Discussion

LUNCH: Lunch is included. Enjoy a nourishing meal, fostering a sense of community and shared experience among participants -  Vegan and allergen free (gluten free, dairy free, nut free for the entree).

WHAT TO BRING (You must be preregistered to attend):

WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • Introduction: Begin your journey with a warm welcome and an overview of the retreat’s purpose and schedule. This intro. will set the tone for a day of deep alignment, introspection, and nourishment.

  • Opening Talk on Intention: As Winter approaches, it is often a season where we take time to rest and restore, and perhaps give thought to where we are in life. What are your intentions for your meditative practice? What are the ways you can cultivate your inner peace and restoration this Winter?  

  • Sound Bath: Immerse yourself in soothing sounds and guided meditation designed to relax and rejuvenate.

  • Mindful Movement: Engage in gentle movements that promote flexibility, strength, and awareness, harmonizing your physical state with your inner rhythms.

  • Silent Meditation: Notice what arises while sitting in silence, connecting deeply with the self and all that is. 

  • Dharma Talk: Facilitators will share their insights on topics related to the day's activities, drawing from ancient teachings and modern perspectives. 

THE FACILITATORS:

  • Giselle Georgi is a multidisciplinary artist, coach and facilitator who excels at holding space at the intersection of creativity and wellness through her creative wellness practice, GG Empowers LLC. As a sound meditation practitioner, Giselle holds over a decade of experience in both music and meditation.  She is deeply influenced by the teachings of the Buddha and strives to bring a relatable, contemporary understanding of his teachings to the public. 

  • James Magee has been a disciplined practitioner of mindfulness daily for well over a decade.. These practices have led him to embrace that exercising the mind and body helps to create a more balanced, healthier way of living.
